Iraqi tattoo artist Ali is currently based in Berlin

He says: My Art journey truly started in Mexico, where I learned to tattoo. But my work was transformed in West Sahara where I embraced arabic movements and language. As Iraqis that grew up with our own conflict in 90/00’s, Palestine Liberation has always been important to us. Palestine stands as a strong moral compass for myself, and it stands as the moral compass for the world.
