I’m Gabriel Silveira, a Brazilian graphic activist.

My activism has always been, in some way, connected to the struggle of the Palestinian people. I believe Palestine is a central issue in the fight against the colonial world we live in. Anyone committed to resisting imperialism and building a world where we can all live with dignity must stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their suffering. As human beings, we have a responsibility to act against the atrocities committed by the Zionist settler-colonial project.

As designers, we should design against it, showing solidarity, amplifying the voices of those fighting back, and raising awareness about the true heroes: the people of Palestine, who continue to resist the horrors of the empire machine.
